Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Our Vacation Rentals.

Our goal as the top Dauphin Island property management company is to make sure that each visitor has what they need for an excellent family vacation. If you need further information, please review our most frequently asked questions or call our office directly at (251) 861-3311.

What is booking direct?

More vacationers are asking about “booking direct.” Many people don’t know that when you book your stay through VRBO, Homeaway, TripAdvisor, etc. you are charged additional fees for using third-party booking websites. These businesses are not always clear about what those charges are or how much they are charging you.

When you book on our website, you get the lowest price and aren’t charged 3rd-party fees. It is the same great vacation rental for less money.

What is provided?

  • All linens are furnished in our Rental Units with the exception of beach towels and beach blankets.  Please do not take inside linens outside of unit.
  • First supply of paper goods (one roll of paper towels and toilet paper in each bathroom) are furnished.
  • All homes have BBQ grills, which must remain on ground level and are not allowed on the decks due to insurance reasons.
  • Holiday Isle rental condos and Beach Club condos offer electric grills for select units

How do I check-in?

If you are checking into one of our Homes, or Condos with the exception of Holiday Isle – you stop by our office located at 900 Bienville Blvd. to get your welcome packet for your vacation rental. You’ll be greeted by Bridges, our office cat.

If you are checking into a Holiday Isle condo – go directly to Holiday Isle at 1601 Bienville Boulevard – turn west at water tower and go one mile or so just past the public beach. This office is open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (2 p.m. on Sundays).

If you think you are going to require a late check-in, call us during our regular business hours at 251-861-3311 for instructions on picking up unit keys after hours.

Can I bring my dog?

We do have several Pet Friendly Homes.  We do ask that your pet has already been placed on a flea and tick control program prior to coming to help us keep the units “pet” friendly, and not “flea” friendly. Read more about our pet policy.

How big is Dauphin Island?

Dauphin Island is a quaint coastal town sitting on the Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The island itself is 14 miles long and 1.4 miles at the widest section. The size of the town and laid-back lifestyle is among some of the most popular reasons people love vacationing here. You can read more about Dauphin Island.

What happens if I need to cancel?

While we hope that no one needs to cancel their beach vacation, you can read more about our cancellation policy on our Rentals Rules page.

Internet Services

We are on an Island. While most of our owners do offer Internet, it is not always reliable here due to weather and other changing conditions. If Internet is imperative to you during your stay, please consider bringing your own Internet device such as a Verizon MIFI Jet Pack, or have your IPhone or Android set up as a back-up HOT SPOT or plan to work from one of the establishments on the Island with a Hot Spot set up such as at the ACP office. We try to maintain quality Internet service, but cannot promise it will be fully functional during your stay with us because of circumstances beyond our control.

What do I do if I see an injured animal?

Please do not touch or get close if you see wildlife that is acting unusual, sickly, or injured. This is for both your safety and the animal’s. Here are the following numbers to call for the type of animal that needs rescuing.
